Apple rolls out new MacBook Pro laptops
Apple today has rolled out revised 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro laptops.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro features an LED-backlit display for promised better screen quality compared to the fluorescent illumination of the previous model, while the 17-inch MacBook Pro now has an optional 1920 x 1200 pixel screen (but both it and the standard 1680 x 1050 pixel screen continue to use fluorescent backlighting).
Both MacBook Pros include more powerful graphic cards, slightly faster Intel Core 2 Duo processors and will now accept (and recognize) up to 4GB of installed RAM.
The new MacBook Pros are shipping now. Full specifications are on the Apple website.
