Whether it is a weekend away or a quickly arranged outing of a few members to take photos. Shafton Camera Club is active in the pursuit of encouraging our members to pick up their camera(s) and go out and take pictures. What better way of learning more about this fantastic pastime of ours than in the company of other members. A great way to learn new techniques, try out that new filter, ask some questions or just have a good time taking photos.
In this Portfolio Group we will track the ups and downs of images taken on the Camera Club outings starting late 2006 and then following through into 2008.

A landscape comprises the visible features of an area of land, including physical elements such as landforms, living elements of flora and fauna, abstract elements such as lighting and weather conditions, and human elements, for instance human activity or the built environment. Landscape can also mean the objects around you in a building.

For an image, the term monochrome is usually taken to mean the same as black-and-white or, more likely, grayscale, but may also be used to refer to other combinations containing only tones of a single color, such as green-and-white or green-and-black. It may also refer to sepia displaying tones from light tan to dark brown or cyanotype (“blueprint”) images, and early photographic methods such as Ambrotype, Tintype and Daguerreotype, each of which may be used to produce a monochromatic image.
